Over the course of the past few weeks/month's, local guy, Zach, has been on the road with the RealKingCobra, aka Glen, in teaching him how to become the best table mechanic. Many players around the country and world have appointed Glen as the Best of the Best. Personally seeing his work, I would attest that there just isn't anyone that can compare.
From RealKingCobra:
Well, it's been about 3 weeks now, so I thought I'd give you an update as to how Zach, aka "Reverend" is doing in his training working towards being a certified pool table mechanic.
In these pictures, this is a Diamond 7ft ProAm he just finished working on. All the extra glue has been scraped off the sides of the slate, cloth glued down tight, and perfect as you can see in the corner pocket, and rails covered to perfection, nice and tight. He's going to be with me for about another 3-4 weeks yet, because he's still got a lot to learn, but let me tell you, this kid...he's 25yrs old...so I still call him a kid since I have a few daughters almost in their 40's
but anyways...this kid is scary to teach, he's like a big sponge that could soak up all the spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico...and still want more oil. Even at this point of training, I'd put him up against anyone in the country working as a mechanic...as all they could do is tie with him in the same work being done.
Phoenix, is going to have one badazz mechanic here shortly, and Diamond's going to have a new over the road installer, thank god, cuz I'm getting old, and need a break.

Here's a couple of pictures of the pocket facing work Zach has learned to do, I couldn't do the work any better

Here's some pictures of Zach's work on a Gabriels Vector 9ft Professional, Simonis 860HR cloth glued down to the sides of the slate using my system of attachment, and my RKC pocket folds, and cloth installed so tight it looks painted on.

It's only a matter of time before Zach's schedule gets filled up as quick as Glen's is. If you are looking to get your table to be exactly the way it should be, maybe give Zach a call at 480-779-7385.
I know I'll have him out to do my table soon!
